Who we are

Simple Kitchen Makeover Ltd, registered in Scotland (company number SC856902), 48 West George Street, Glasgow, G2 1BP. Contact us at contact@simplekitchenmakeover.co.uk or 0141 266 0090.

What we collect

When you order: your name, addresses, email, phone number and what you buy. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see your full card details.
If you create an account: your contact details, addresses and past orders, so you can check them and order faster. You don't need an account to order.
When you contact us: what you tell us in your email, message or call.
When you use our kitchen visualiser: your first name, email address and the photo of your kitchen.
When you browse our website: how you use the site and basic details about your device, through cookies (see below).

Why we use it

To take, make and deliver your order, and to deal with returns and questions. We need this to fulfil our contract with you.
To make your visualisation and send it to you, because you agreed to it when you sent your photo.
To run and improve our website and our advertising, based on your cookie choices.
To keep records the law requires, such as for tax.

We don't sell your information, and we don't send you marketing emails unless you've agreed to them.

Who we share it with

Only with companies that help us run the business, such as our website platform (Shopify), payment, delivery, email and review services, and only as far as they need it to do that job. We may also share it if the law requires us to.

Some of these companies store information outside the UK. When they do, it is protected by the safeguards UK law requires.

Our shop runs on Shopify. How Shopify uses your information is explained in Shopify's privacy policy.

Cookies

We use cookies that the website needs to work, such as keeping items in your basket. With your permission, we also use cookies for analytics and advertising, to see how the site is used and to show you our ads on other websites. You choose which ones to allow when you first visit, and you can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page.

Our free kitchen visualiser

When you use our kitchen visualiser, we collect your first name, email address and the photo of your kitchen. We use them to make your visualisation and send it to you. Your photo and images are stored securely by our service providers.

If you ticked the box to allow it, we may share your before and after images on our social media. You can change your mind at any time.

We delete your photo, images and details 6 months after we send your visualisation. Email contact@simplekitchenmakeover.co.uk if you'd like them deleted sooner.

How long we keep it

Order records: 6 years, as the law requires for tax.
Messages: as long as we need them to deal with your question or order.
Kitchen visualiser: 6 months, as above.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop or limit how we use it. Where you've given permission, you can withdraw it at any time. Email contact@simplekitchenmakeover.co.uk and we'll reply within a month.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
