Hinges

Adding soft close hinges to your new Simple Kitchen Makeover is another great way to make huge change for a small cost.

Measuring Hinge Hole Positions

If you're opting for pre-drilled hinge holes on your new doors, (most people do) you'll need to supply a simple measurement when ordering your doors. You will need to know the hinge position from the top and bottom of each of your existing doors. To find this out you will need to measure from the door edge to the centre of the hinge cup.

It’s often helpful to make a small pencil mark at the centre of the hinge first and then measure to that. Measure the hinge positions from the top and bottom of your door to the centre of the hinge. Use this measurement to supply the top and bottom hinge hole positions for your new doors when adding hinges to your order.

Adding hinges to your order

Make sure you add the correct hinge for the door type that you're replacing - 110° for standard base and wall units. 165° for corner and easy access doors.

You can add hinges to your order when you specify each door. Choose ADD HINGES and select the hinge type you would like for that door. We'll make sure we add a mounting plate for you.
Simple!
