About our shaker doors
A shaker style kitchen door has a flat frame round a recessed centre panel, and no other decoration. It's the classic door, and it suits traditional and modern kitchens.
Which shaker range is right for you?
Our 10 shaker ranges differ mainly in the frame: how wide it is, and how it steps down to the centre panel.
-
Aysgarth: a micro shaker. A very fine 10mm border runs round the edge, so it looks almost flat from across the room. It fits doors and drawer fronts down to 110mm, which suits narrow units.
-
Oakham: a slim shaker, with a 55mm frame and a square step. The slim frame keeps narrow doors in proportion, down to 155mm.
-
Richmond: a modern shaker, with a 70mm frame and a clean, square step. Neither chunky nor thin, which is why it suits most kitchens.
-
Elland: a handleless shaker. It has Richmond's 70mm frame with a J-pull along the top or bottom edge, so no handles are needed.
-
Rowen: a beaded shaker, with an 85mm frame and a small rounded bead where the frame steps down to the panel. A touch more detailed than a plain shaker.
-
Shaker: our classic shaker, with the five-piece look: a 90mm frame and fine joint lines at the corners, like a traditional timber door.
-
Buxton: a beaded shaker, with a 92mm frame and a bead round the edge of the panel, which softens the look.
-
Warwick: the same five-piece look in a wider frame, the bolder version of our Shaker door, with a 110mm frame.
-
Cambridge: a wide sloped shaker. The 110mm frame slopes down to a deeply set centre panel, so the panel stands out even from across the room.
-
Carrick: a wide sloped shaker like Cambridge, with a much shallower slope. From a distance it can pass for a flat door.

Sizes, colours and finishes
Every door and drawer front is 18mm vinyl-wrapped MDF, made to your sizes. Doors are made up to 2540mm high and 1200mm wide, and drawer fronts from 60mm high. Not sure how to measure? Follow our step-by-step measuring guide.
Choose from over 50 colours in five finishes: Supermatt, Paint Flow Matt, Satin, Woodgrain and Paint Ready. Paint Flow Matt has a light brushed texture, so it looks like a hand-painted door. Satin has a soft sheen, and Woodgrain has the look of real wood. Paint Ready is wrapped in a paintable vinyl, ready for you to paint or spray in any colour you like.
Cambridge, Carrick and Richmond also come in high gloss, in White, Cream, Light Grey, Dust Grey and Cashmere.
Drawer fronts are plain on most shaker ranges; Aysgarth, Warwick and Elland carry their design onto the drawer fronts. Very narrow doors are made plain, because the frame needs a minimum width. Each product page says what applies to that range.
