About our handleless doors

A handleless style kitchen door has the grip built into the door itself, such as a J-pull groove along the top or a scoop cut into the edge, so you don't need separate handles. It suits modern kitchens and narrow walkways.

Which handleless range is right for you?

Our 5 handleless ranges differ in the grip.

  • Knebworth: a completely flat door with a J-pull, a finger grip groove running the full width of the edge.

  • Chelsea: a curved finger scoop cut into the edge.

  • Integra: a 200mm angled notch cut into the top or bottom edge, so the grip barely shows.

  • Segreto: a handle set into a V-shaped cut-out in the edge. The handle comes in nickel or steel.

  • Elland: a shaker with a 70mm frame and a J-pull along the top or bottom edge.

Sizes, colours and finishes

Every door and drawer front is 18mm vinyl-wrapped MDF, made to your sizes. Doors are made up to 2540mm high and 1200mm wide, and drawer fronts from 60mm high. Not sure how to measure? Follow our step-by-step measuring guide.

Choose from over 50 colours in five finishes: Supermatt, Paint Flow Matt, Satin, Woodgrain and Paint Ready. Paint Flow Matt has a light brushed texture, so it looks like a hand-painted door. Satin has a soft sheen, and Woodgrain has the look of real wood. Paint Ready is wrapped in a paintable vinyl, ready for you to paint or spray in any colour you like.

Handleless doors aren't made in high gloss.

Drawer fronts have the same grip as the doors. On base unit doors the grip runs along the top edge, and on wall unit doors along the bottom edge. On tall doors it runs down the left or right side, so you can still reach it. That starts at 1246mm high on Chelsea, Knebworth and Elland, and at 1700mm on Integra. On Segreto you choose where the handle goes: top, bottom, left or right. On Segreto doors from 1700mm high it goes on the left or right. Each product page says what applies to that range.

Questions about handleless kitchen doors

Will handleless doors fit my IKEA or Howdens units?

Yes, every door is made to the sizes you give us, so it fits Howdens, IKEA, Magnet, B&Q and other standard units. Add your hinge positions to your order and we'll drill the holes for free.

How do I measure for new handleless doors?

Measure the height and width of each door and drawer front in millimetres, and check every size twice. Our measuring guide takes you through it step by step.

How much does it cost to replace handleless doors?

Most kitchens cost about £850 to £2,100, depending on size:

  • Small kitchen, about £850: 10 doors, 3 drawer fronts, 1 plinth, 13 handles, 20 hinges
  • Medium kitchen, about £1,350: 15 doors, 4 drawer fronts, 2 plinths, 19 handles, 30 hinges
  • Large kitchen, about £2,100: 25 doors, 5 drawer fronts, 3 plinths, 30 handles, 50 hinges

Your exact price shows as soon as you enter your sizes on a door's page.

How do handleless doors open?

Each range has its own grip cut into the door. Chelsea has a curved scoop along the top edge. Knebworth has a J-shaped pull across the full width, and Elland has the same J-pull above a shaker frame. Integra has an angled notch at the top. Segreto has a V-shaped recess with a handle insert, in nickel or steel.

Where does the grip go on handleless doors?

On base unit doors the grip runs along the top edge, and on wall unit doors along the bottom edge. On tall doors from 1246mm high, it runs down the left or right side, so you can still reach it. Drawer fronts have the same grip as the doors. On Segreto you choose where the handle goes: top, bottom, left or right.

Can I paint handleless doors?

Yes, if you choose the Paint Ready finish. It's wrapped in a paintable vinyl, ready for you to paint or spray in any colour you like, and it comes in all 5 handleless ranges.

How long until handleless doors arrive?

About 15 working days from your order. It can take a little longer around Easter, the summer holidays and Christmas, and we'll let you know if it does.
